I recently made a career move that surprised a lot of people, including me.
After nearly a decade in Silicon Valley tech, including six and a half years at Salesforce and two and a half years at Globality, an AI startup in Palo Alto, I decided to begin a new chapter in real estate.
On paper, it would have made complete sense to keep going in tech. I had built a career in growth, marketing, revenue operations, and go-to-market strategy. I worked with leadership teams, built systems, studied markets, analyzed data, and helped businesses grow.
But over time, I found myself asking a different question:
Do I want to keep optimizing systems, or do I want to do work that feels more personal?
The answer became clearer than I expected.
What I loved most about my work was never just the dashboards, funnels, or strategy presentations. It was always the people. I loved understanding what mattered to them, helping them make sense of complex decisions, and earning their trust when the stakes were high.
That realization kept pulling me toward real estate.
Not because real estate is easy or predictable. It is neither. But because it is deeply human.
Every client has a story. Every home is connected to a life transition. A growing family. A new job. A relocation. A first home. A downsizing decision. An investment for the future. A difficult change. A fresh start.
And every decision carries real weight.
That is what makes this work meaningful to me.
Why Real Estate
Real estate sits at the intersection of strategy, emotion, timing, and trust.
For buyers, it is rarely just about finding a property. It is about choosing a community, understanding tradeoffs, evaluating schools, commute, lifestyle, long-term value, and deciding when to move forward with confidence.
For sellers, it is not just about listing a home. It is about preparing the property thoughtfully, positioning it well, understanding the market, negotiating carefully, and protecting the value of what may be one of their most important assets.
For investors, it is about seeing the bigger picture: location, rental demand, appreciation potential, cash flow, risk, and long-term goals.
That combination of data and humanity is exactly what drew me in.
My background taught me to analyze markets, build thoughtful strategies, communicate clearly, and execute with discipline. But real estate gives me the opportunity to apply those skills in a much more personal way.
Starting Over, With Purpose
I got licensed and joined Keller Williams Peninsula as part of the Disen Cai Real Estate Group.
In many ways, I am starting over. I am learning, listening, making calls, attending open houses, studying neighborhoods, meeting clients, and building from the ground up.
The humility is real.
So is the excitement.
I went from presenting pipeline metrics to walking properties, calling prospects, studying disclosures, and learning the rhythm of the Peninsula market one conversation at a time.
And honestly, I feel a genuine sense of energy, ownership, and purpose.
What I Bring With Me
Even though this is a new chapter, I am not starting from zero.
I bring more than 20 years of experience in strategy, marketing, operations, and client service. I know how to manage complexity, communicate clearly, follow through, and help people make informed decisions.
I also understand how important trust is.
In real estate, trust is not built through a single transaction. It is built through listening carefully, giving honest guidance, doing the homework, and being present when decisions feel overwhelming.
That is the kind of advisor I want to be.
As a Peninsula-based Realtor, I combine local market insight, skilled negotiation, and patient guidance to help buyers, sellers, and investors navigate complex Bay Area moves with confidence.
My Commitment
My goal is simple: to help people feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the real estate process.
Whether someone is buying their first home, selling a longtime family home, relocating to the Bay Area, or exploring investment opportunities, I want to be the person they can trust for clear advice and thoughtful execution.
I am especially passionate about serving the San Francisco Peninsula, one of the most competitive and dynamic real estate markets in the country. This market can feel intimidating, but with the right guidance, it can also be navigated with clarity and confidence.
A New Chapter
I am grateful for every community that shaped this journey — my years in tech, my education, my colleagues, my mentors, my friends, and the Peninsula community I now serve.
This new chapter feels both humbling and exciting.
Different industry. Same obsession with doing the work right.
